MADAM MAYOR PLEASE CLEAR ABANDONED CARS FROM OUR STREETS

Hello madam Mayor of the Sun. How are you getting on with your TRANSFORM FREETOWN project? We are always praying for you to succeed because when that happens we will all enjoy living in a tidy and efficient Freetown. We see a lot of stuff on social media from you SPIN TEAM. They are doing well especially with people who live abroad and those that live in Freetown but for obvious reasons close their eyes to the reality of life in our city.

MINISTER OF HIGHER EDUCATION GOOD MORNING SIR

Hope you are doing well sir. We have observed that you have suffered two policy reversals recently. That’s not a good thing in politics. You probably know more about that than hacks like us trying to understand what’s happening within the walls of the cabinet office.

FSSG BROOKFIELDS IS SLOWLY BEING TAKEN OVER

We know that all secondary schools should have governing boards. The usual practice is for the Ministry of Education to appoint the members from among institutions and past pupils of the school in question. This is normally a powerful body with a mandate to watch the school and ensure the learning environment is conducive and that teachers deliver their courses well and on time. So they are very powerful indeed.

GOOD MORNING ACC: WHAT ABOUT JENDEMA AND LUNGI AIRPORT?

The ACC is doing a great job. We join many other Sierra Leoneans who share this view. Those who believe the contrary are free to do so. In the end we will use the outcome of ACC operations to convince them that without ACC our country would sink into the cesspit of corruption and die. That said we want to ask questions about two cases the ACC has been investigating for a few months. We just don’t want them to forget about those cases or drop them without telling us what actually happened.

SLFA CONGRESS IN KENEMA – THE FARCE AND THE COMING FIASCO IN MAKENI

We have no option but to tell the SLFA how disappointed the whole nation is with the farce they call a delegates’ conference which took place Kenema last weekend. Those of us who thought that after all these years of turmoil, arising from rigged electoral mandates, disenfranchisement of whole regions, politically-motivated sackings at the SLFA, FIFA suspension of Sierra Leone, court cases and all that, things will simmer down in the SLFA are now thoroughly disappointed. Yes indeed we are.

WHEN WILL OUR PARLIAMENT DEBATE THE AUDITOR GENERAL’S REPORT?

We are respectfully reminding our parliament that we are still waiting to witness the debate of the Auditor General’s report. We don’t know how much longer we should wait though. Is there anything our representatives want to tell us about the delay and the growing suspicion that an attempt is being made to avoid debating the document in any substantial way?
