We understand De Pa returned to Freetown on Tuesday evening after more than a week abroad. At the time of his departure we were told he was off to see his wife who’s receiving hospital treatment in London. The nation would appreciate it if De Pa called the media to State House for another of those monthly briefings he promised recently.

THE CASE OF THE CHARCOAL TRUCK PACKED WITH DIAMBA
It was drama on the highway last weekend, (Saturday) witnessed by your very own TWITTER on your behalf. A hit-and-run truck from Bo area loaded with charcoal was involved in a kind of OJ Simpson-type chase. Blue boys were humiliated by the truck driver’s mastery of the hit-and-run game and embarked on a dangerous road exercise that ended in the arrest of the runaway truck – AFZ 842 with the inscription – SIDI MAMBAY CAPITAL HOLDINGS, BO.

Men in grey will soon arrive at the doorstep of Bernadette Lahai, parliamentary leader of the Green Movement. Things are moving so fast that we cannot guarantee she will still be in place by this time next week. And the normally media-loving MP is running away from the microphone – amazing!
