POPULIST ORBANGU TO DRAG WAEC TO COURT? ELECTION 2018.

From "corrupt police", to Abacha Street market relocation, the SLPP leadership question, etc. now to the WAEC results, Orbangu's UDM bandwagon rolls on. We stand by the WAEC candidates/pupils who want to be told why their results were withheld but frankly we find it absolutely ridiculous that for the purpose of securing the services of lawyers to drag WAEC to court, Orbangu would actually lead a march to the law courts building. This is the mindless populism we are talking about. Utterly disgusting populism!

SBB DUMBUYA IS THE NEW SPEAKER: WE KNEW THAT A MONTH AGO

So what next for our dear former Speaker of Parliament, Justice Abel Stronge? He hung in there and saw all the plotters plot his removal from office. We wanted to say POLITICAL DEMISE but hmmm, Dis na Salone, never say die. Some have been brutally removed from one place and recycled as old wine in new bottles. In any case we shall one day get the full story behind the forced resignation of Stronge. We don't know when that day will come. We venture to say though that it will be sooner rather than later.

SLAJ JOINS "NETWORK OF GOODWILL", BUT WHAT ABOUT ITS AFFILIATES?

We are still trying to find out which group is next on De Pa's agenda as he continues to build his "NETWORK OF GOODWILL". Last week he met the national executive of the Sierra Leone Association of Journalists, SLAJ. From what we've read so far on social networking sites, this was basically one of those meetings, full of feel-good speeches and promises to deliver things De Pa promised in 2008 - the land to build SLAJ headquarters.
