IMC Concludes more complaints

  1. 1.      Complaint against Voice of Islam Radio by Alhaji Wusha-Conteh for programme titled: “Weekly Guest”.

The Independent Media Commission received a letter of complaint from Alhaji Wusha-Conteh. He complained that a statement aired on the programme titled “weekly guest” on Voice of Islam radio demonised his character and that he was denied access to respond to allegations made on the programme.

IPAU donates to Kenema library

The Integrated Project Administration Unit, IPAU in the Local Government Finance Department, has donated one desktop computer, a printer, scanner, two UPS and two giant standing fans to the Kenema library.

Communication officer, Augusta Kamara, presented the items and disclosed that the IPAU project succeeded the institutional reform and capacity building one, which managed decentralisation projects and provided oversight functions for reproductive health and decentralization service delivery project, DSDP.

Top 2 of Sierra Leone's top bank released from jail

After weeks in police custody and later on remand, the Managing Director of the Sierra Leone Commercial Bank, Crispin Bishop Deigh was yesterday released from the Pademba Road prison after he went through the bail conditions granted on Tuesday.

Three others, his deputy Patrick Conteh, John Benjamin Sankoh and Salieu Mohamed Barrie also returned home.
